Samia joined the Foundation in 2016. She has worked for over two decades developing, implementing and evaluating educational and community development projects with refugee and other communities. Focused primarily on the Middle East, Samia’s diverse experience has been gained with a number of local and international NGOs, charitable foundations, the UN, and other international agencies. Samia has been volunteering with the John Aves Education Project since 2011.
Horizon periodically engages finance, tech, and education specialists, alongside other consultants, to enhance its operations.
